My Cats as People

I have cats, two of them, a boy and a girl. Their names are Lilo and Hobbes.
Since I'm allergic to cats I've never really had a lot of contact with them, so I'm very fascinated by my fur babies.

Lilo is our pretty girl. She's dainty and shiny and sleek and we always feel privileged when she lets us pet her.

Hobbes is a boy. He runs around like a lunatic, he spills his food when he eats and he farts a lot; his pet name is Stinky Kitty.

One day my daughter and I  were watching them chase each other. Hobbes wanted to play and Lilo kept hissing and growling at him as usual. That's when I started to wonder what they would be like if they were people.

I pictured Lilo as pretty, stuck up, 60's era Southern Belle sort of like Barbara Sue "Babs" Jansen from Animal House.

In that vein, it's pretty obvious who Hobbes reminded me of;"Bluto" Blutarsky, played by the late, great John Belushi. If you've seen Animal House, you'll know what part of the movie this picture is from.

If you haven't seen the movie, you can watch this clip to see what I'm talking about. The girl in the pink, is the Southern bell from above.
***I don't own this clip, I found it on YouTube, but I thought I should say that so I don't get into trouble for using it.

That I put that much time thinking about who my cats would be as people AND writing a blog post about it should probably tell me I have too much time on my hands and I could be more productive, but if you have the choice between figuring out what your cats would be like if they were people and doing actual work, what would you choose?
